Opening Deeply To The Divine
Why are you looking for me, my friend?
Why do you search for my name?
Are you hiding something within your heart
when you look at me from the side, from behind
from everywhere that is not directly in my gaze?
I feel the same
Did you know that I feel the same?
There is a Divine Opening within us
I don’t feel any different than you
yet I look in the mirror
and wonder why
fate has played this way
Nothing makes sense in my world
in this play
Yet something is opening inside of me
Something is beyond my measure of believing
You stand on the stage of the play
making your creation speak
Here you have no fear
in the boldness of your gaze
Yet you’ve lessened your fragility
In your nakedness
I was able to find grace
Falling in love with the divine
makes no sense in the world we’ve made
If you jump off of your stage
and I jump off of mine
Will we meet in a place where only God dwells?
Is the Divine Union, the spark of life
holding a place for us?
Is it deeper than we’ll ever know
staring out from the place on the stage?
I invite you
I invite us
to go deeper into the Oneness of Grace
Singing the soul’s song
Deeply opening to the Divine
Deeply opening to God
Holding you in the Love Beyond
